Home Staging of the driveway; home staging in foyer; home staging in the living room; home staging in the bathroom; home staging in the bedrooms. It isn’t going to stop and the price of the home is going to rise because emotion sells and logic is for thinkers and they are no fun now are they? Mortgage brokers arrange for the loan and real estate agents find the buyers and once you find the buyer it is up to the real estate agent to get the highest selling price for the house and it is up to the mortgage lender to get the best available rate and it is up to the broker to get the highest number of points that the application will justify.
So, what does that do for all of us. Buyer Beware and make sure to shop around, both in buying the real estate and in shopping the loan, the home loan or the construction loan. However, with home staging beginning to be all the rage, it may turn out that there is an opportunity to have a higher appraisal on the house as well and that’s a subject we can discuss another time.
