Long Beach California Home Loan

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

The city of Long Beach is undergoing some changes, as is its neighbor Lakewood and Cerritos.  There has been a great deal of construction on Orange Boulevard and the Artesia Boulevard intersection.  There has been a street redevelopment on Atlantic Boulevard and South Street, to name just one intersection.  There has also been a new renovation of a shopping center at Cherry and Market Street, with the Superior Super Market having recently celebrated its opening and the Superior Shopping Mall too.

It is important to walk through and drive through a neighborhood when getting the feel for what the bankers are loaning money for development, as this will reflect the ability to get the best available mortgage rate, and especially the best available refinance rate for your neighborhood.  If money is coming into the street, it means there is confidence that the city is on the upswing and that there is more money available for your area.  More money available for your area and there are more financial institutes interested in the putting money in the area.

It isn’t whether or not you are going to get your loan, you know you wouldn’t apply if you aren’t going to get the money, it is a question of who is going to loan you the money, the terms and conditions, points if any and the interest rate - fixed or variable.  As we head into the New Year of 2007 we wish everyone a very prosperous and healthy New Year.
